Rogue Valley Sporting Clays
is the premier Sporting Clays range in Southern Oregon. Nestled in a rolling hills forest just north of Grants Pass, Oregon RVSC offer some of the most challenging and yet affordable targets on the west coast.
Rogue Valley Sporting Clays is an all volunteer, not for profit, club that is open to the public 6 days/week. And here's the best part - club member pay only $24/round (100 birds). That is the best price for a 100 targets anywhere in the United States
our Sporting Clays range
Our range consists of 15 stations and the course covers an area of 10 gently sloping acres on a quarter mile graveled road that is looped. Automobiles are not allowed. However, off road carts, quads and push carts are allowed.
There are 35 fully automated trap machines that allow for a number of different presentations at each station. Among some of the various presentation you will encounter are the Chandelle, Battue, Rabbit, Spring Teal the Mini and numerous others. The course is changed on a regular basis which keeps it challenging.
In addition, the course also has 4 towers, with 2 machines on each tower capable of throwing numerous high incoming or crossing presentation. And there are 2 elevated shoot stands along the course. The targets presentations very from easy to difficult, allowing for interesting yet challenging course for all levels of shooters.

- Oregon SCTP Father's Day Fun Shoot, June 17, 2012
- Rogue Valley Sporting Clays/Young Guns will host a Father's Day Fun Shoot on Sunday, June 17. This fun shoot is open to the public and all proceeds will go to the Rogue Valley Young Guns SCTP shooting team. The shoot will feature 25 trap, 25 skeet and 100 sporting clay targets and lunch. Registration will begin at 9am and the shoot will start at 10am SCTP Fathers Day Fun Shoot Flyer and Registration Form
- Chinese Trap 1st & 3rd Mondays
- The Club will be shooting Chinese Trap the 1st and 3rd Monday through the fall months. We start shooting at 10am. Cost for club members is $3.00
- 5-stand Friday
- The club Shoot 5-Stand the first Friday of each Month. Member cost is $4.00. Start time is 10am
- The Club Shoots Every Wednesdays & Saturdays
- Our regular club days to shoot Sporting Clays are Wednesdays and Saturdays at 10AM. Anyone and everyone is invited. We usually meet at the JCSA club house between 9 and 10am, have coffee, and then head up to the Sporting Clays Range. Usually takes about 2 hours to shoot 100 targets. Your invited, just bring a shotgun, 100 shells and some money.
